Formation for the Work of Your Life |

Formation is the process of nurturing and sustaining the calling to the “Work of Your Life”. When who we are aligns with what we do, our work in the world is powerful. As the poet Rumi wrote in the 12th century, “Let the beauty we love, be what we do”.
Calling is unique for each individual. In my case I was called to be a husband, a father and a teacher. Each of these callings together wove “the work of my life” like a rich tapestry.
To really appreciate the greatness of this, it is necessary to appreciate that “vocation, like life is unscripted” and intentionally attend to discerning what it is that we are called to do with the work of our lives.
Exploring these “Matters of Great Importance” has been my great passion.
I have found that very many people across the country, and around the world, have relished engaging with me in this quest to unite soul and role. As a result, I travel and work with Schools, Communities, and Education Offices regularly in different contexts and cultures. I have much to share and love doing so.
